Opening and resolving a dispute
Challenge an attribution, a commission, a payout, a deal or a lead decision.
Published 1 min read
Either side of a program — the partner or the vendor — can open a dispute about an attribution, a commission, a payout, a deal or a lead they share.
What happens
- A disputed commission is held until the dispute is resolved; a disputed deal is marked as disputed.
- Both sides can add comments and evidence. The platform may ask for more evidence before reviewing.
- The platform resolves the dispute in favour of the partner, the vendor, a split, or no change.
Outcomes never rewrite history
A resolution creates new records: a partial or full reversal, or a re-attribution that moves the customer to the rightful partner with a new commission. The original records stay in place for audit.
Appeals
Each dispute can be appealed once after it is resolved.
Partners open disputes from Disputes; vendors from their Disputes page.
